Your Mission with Us:

In this role, you will strengthen our hematopathology department with a focus on FACS routine analytics. You will make an important contribution to maintaining high analysis quality, ensuring stable laboratory processes, and developing and establishing methods in the area of hematopathology.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform FACS routine analytics in the field of hematopathology
  • Participate in related areas such as morphology and FISH as needed
  • Preparation and processing of bone marrow aspirate specimens
  • Practical support in establishment and method development
  • Conduct measurements and assist with pipetting and measurement processes
  • Aid in creating and maintaining establishment protocols in Excel
  • Support colleagues with professional uncertainties in everyday laboratory work

What You Bring:

  • Completed training as a Biomedical Analyst HF or comparable qualification
  • Knowledge and experience in hematology, particularly in morphology
  • Basic knowledge or interest in developing competences in flow cytometry / FACS
  • Practical experience in the preparation of bone marrow aspirate specimens is an advantage
  • Understanding of pre-analytical and analytical influencing factors
  • Good knowledge of QUALAB guidelines and experience with internal quality control is a plus
  • Proficient handling of laboratory processes, workflows, and documentation
  • Enjoyment of teamwork and clear, audience-appropriate knowledge transfer
  • Accurate, structured, and independent working style
  • High quality awareness, reliability, and sense of responsibility
