What You Can Do

• Monitoring and control of all relevant safety and alarm systems as well as conducting inspections, audits, and vulnerability analyses
• Documentation and investigation of safety and environmental incidents including root cause analysis and deriving measures
• Advising management on risk assessments, risk analyses, and implementation of legal and internal requirements
• Coordinating company-wide collection, consolidation, and quality assurance of KPIs, KRIs, and management information in the area of safety and environment, and creating targeted evaluations and reports from this
• Advising on risk assessments, risk analyses, and preventive measures
• Supporting the integration of safety and environment requirements into operations and project processes in accordance with industry standards ISO 14000 and 45000
• Ensuring the coordination and documentation of testing and monitoring obligations (equipment testing, site approvals, etc.) and assisting responsible parties in documenting, monitoring, and timely implementation of actions from tests, audits, assessments, and official regulations
• Creating, maintaining, and further developing site-specific work instructions, process instructions, concepts, and directives in the area of safety and environment
• Supporting environmental management (waste, emissions, water protection) and participating in sustainability initiatives
• Planning, organizing, and conducting training, workshops, and evacuation or emergency drills
• Actively contributing to the development of safety, health, and environmental culture at the location
  What You Bring
• Completed training in the field of safety (safety specialist (EKAS/SUVA), technical training HF/FH with a focus on safety)
• Additional training in fire protection, ISO courses, BZS courses
• Several years of professional experience in occupational safety, health protection, or environment
• In-depth knowledge in risk management, safety audits, and internal control systems (IKS) in a safety context
• High communication and teamwork skills at all hierarchical levels
• Structured and reliable work style as well as high organizational and coordination skills
• Very good MS Office application skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Very good German skills and good English skills

The division is responsible for the protection and physical integrity of employees as well as the resilience of business processes against security-related risks. By establishing uniform standards and processes, it ensures that legal requirements and internal corporate safety and sustainability goals are met.
