TOA (m/w/d) for the ophthalmic operating area is sought – Precision meets team spirit! Our established vue. Augenzentrum in Biel is moving. Alongside our newly redesigned, beautiful practice in close proximity to the Biel train station, our newly built operating area is now being created. It meets the highest medical and technical standards and offers a modern infrastructure for ophthalmic surgery. In this innovative environment, you will work as part of our new specialized operating team, ensuring a patient-friendly, structured, and efficient workflow in the operating room.

Your tasks
- Independent operation preparation in the ophthalmic field
- Instrumentation and assistance in microsurgical procedures (e.g. cataract, glaucoma, retinal surgery, and oculoplastic surgery)
- Professional care, maintenance, and control of ophthalmic specialist devices and operating microscopes
- Careful documentation of operations and performance recording
- Ordering consumables and implantation materials
- Support in the sterilization department
Requirements
- Completed training as TOA/OTA/Operation Technology specialist HF or longer experience in ophthalmic surgery
- Ideally experience in the ophthalmic operating area
- Very precise, structured, and responsible working style
- Joy in fine motor activities and technical devices
- Engaged, team-oriented, and open personality
- Good PC skills (MS Office)
- Very good German language skills, French skills are an advantage
